I'm always in my feminine energy and am comfortable with my sexuality. I paint with admiration for feminine beauty. In most cases I paint with black and white acrylic paint in combination with one bright color. Painting in black and white is an aesthetic choice. I paint what intrigues me and then I place it against a bright background to highlight the subject. Bright neon backgrounds are applied with a spraypaint. My studio in the center of Den Bosch is my own playground. It is the place where I can express myself. The sexually charged works are also sometimes alternated with playful works such as a street view or a nostalgic work from an old children's series. I like to experiment in sketchbooks, canvases, but also on self-created surfaces made of waste. My work is coarse in combination with realism. I like to look for contradictions. Colours, structures, acrylic with graffiti. Broad brush strokes along with the use of thin brushes for the realistic details.
